My biggest issue with the fitness industry is that, for too long, PTs have been able to get away with doing the bare minimum. For most people, you shouldn’t need a trainer to stick around for 12, 18, or 24 months. How many times have you seen a PT at your local gym counting reps and cheering a client on simply because that’s what they were “taught” to do?

Personal training and online coaching should be about education—teaching people how to train, not just work out. Whatever the scenario, clients should have the knowledge to make fitness a long-term habit of theirs, not just a short-term fixation for their summer holiday.
